Mt. Angel Community Festhalle project

We are pleased to announce that the Mt. Angel Community Festhalle is open for use! With help from our partners, Oktoberfest Inc., Mt. Angel Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Mt. Angel, and strong support of local community members, construction of the building's first and second phases has been successfully completed.

The Mt. Angel Community Festhalle (German for “festival hall”), located at 500 S. Wilco Highway in Mt. Angel, first opened to the public at a dedication event on Sept. 9, 2011, and hosted thousands of Biergarten guests during the 2011 Mt. Angel Oktoberfest.

This beautiful Bavarian-style building, with its raised stage, wooden dance floor and catering kitchen, is now in frequent use by civic, church and non-profit groups, businesses, families and individuals as a community gathering and event space. It continues to host thousands of visitors as a main music venue during the annual Oktoberfest.

Reserve the Festhalle for your upcoming event!

Be a part of this community effort!
The Festhalle is open for public use, but much work remains to complete the next phases of this project. We are continuing to raise funds to complete and furnish the Festhalle's upper level, meeting rooms and mezzanine. Your help is still needed to complete this valuable community resource!
